Our Core Values
Vounteerism: Our Kenyan partners, members of the Kenyan Board of Directors and the members of the U.S. Board of directors are non compensated, volunteer positions.
Stewardship: We respect donors’ intentions and restrictions on the use of their gifts, and practice responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to us for the accomplishment of our work.
Financial Accountability: Just One Person’s financial information, governance structure, activities, and listing of officers and partnerships are open and accessible to public scrutiny and we openly and honestly provide our donors with information about our work and the origin and use of our resources.
Program Accountability: The true measure of our success as a nonprofit is whether girls’ lives—and their communities—change for the better as a result of our work. Being mission-focused, producing measurable outcomes, conducting program evaluations, and developing and maintaining sound financial management are vital elements in the management of Just One Person.
Integrity: Just One Person values and upholds the highest ethical and professional standards in all aspects of our operations. In providing our services, we do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
How Your Program Donations Are Used
School Tuition
Just One Person pays 35% of each
girl's annual school tuition; (Kenyan donors pay 35% while the girls' parents pay the remaining 30%
Girls' EmPowerment Workshops
Just One Person organizes one day
life skills workshops 3 times each year.
Parents Business Training Seminars
Just One Person hosts one day business training seminars 3 times each year.
