A Success Story

In the fall of 2009, the girls parents attended a JOP workshop where they learned how to raise and market chickens, a pretty lucrative business in Kenya. Subsequently, at another JOP workshop, the girls learned about money management and strategies for savings. By January 2010, 2 girls had saved enough money to buy a few chickens and start their own small enterprise.

Donate - $25/month to award an annual scholarship to Just One Girl

*JOP is not a full scholarship program. Parents of girls participating in JOP are
required to pay 40% of school fees, while JOP pays the remaining 60%

Donate - $10/ month helps fund the cost of one JOP Entrepreneurship Workshop for the girls' families. Costs incurred are transportation, facilitator costs, venue and supplies

Donate - $10/ month helps fund the cost of one JOP Mpowerment Workshop. Costs incurred are transportation, facilitator, venue and supplies.

Donate - $25/month to provide one year's supply of sanitary napkins for 25 girls

Donate - Any one time amount...all contributions are deeply appreciated and will help ensure that we can continue to provide high quality, effective programs to girls and their families in rural Kenya
