Mpowerment Programs
Education
Our structured four year curriculum is based on adolescent developmental needs designed to help girls acquire, build on and integrate their knowledge into their lives during their participation in JOP.
Reproductive health
Life skills such as goal setting, relationships, conflict resolution, decision making

Computer training
Financial Management
Entrepreneurship
Empowerment
Career education, job skills training, volunteering at JOP and “Gap Year” internships at small businesses.
In Kenya, there is a "gap year" between graduation and post secondary opportunities. Girls are especially vulnerable at this time. Their continuing involvement in JOP programs ensures that they stay on course and gives them a chance to practice their newly acquired skills while giving back to their communities.
Support
Small business training programs for parents that engage girls’ families in the process of change.
Poultry raising
Silk worm farming
Bee keeping
Fruit juice processing
Sister-to-sister peer counseling and neighborhood outreach.
Community women as role models and mentors
Our dream is that each successive and successful generation of Kenyan women will add a step to the ladder that leads the way to health and prosperity for themselves, their families and their nation.
